About Elaine
Paws and Paint was set up by Elaine enabling her to combine her love of painting and pets. Elaine has lived in the East Midlands all her life and worked as an educationalist supporting Christian home-educating families. Elaine enjoyed using her skills in providing creative workshops over the years and found fulfilment in sharing her passion for art.
Elaine started painting pets after receiving commissions from family and friends. She particularly enjoys turning a favourite pet photo into life by giving attention to detail and carefully bringing out the affection and character of the pet.
Elaine works in different styles, techniques and media, specialising in acrylics and pastels for the pet portraits. She also enjoys painting landscapes and botanical painting in oil and watercolour.
Over the years, Elaine has had the privilege of successfully exhibiting at various venues in the Midlands.
